I have been using a 1994 Chevrolet 4 X 4 pickup truck as a daily driver at my house in Maine for over 10 years. In the back of my mind, I have always had the thought that I should be driving an Oldsmobile Bravada there. Now that I am retired, I don’t put a lot of miles on a car up there every year and it gives me something to drive as my wife usually takes drives her Forester. This spring I spotted a perfect Bravada on eBay, so I bought it at the "Buy it Now" price which was very fair for a Silver Green AWD Aurora with 88,000 miles. It came from Port Clinton, OH and I am the 2nd owner.

I contacted the seller and Intercity Lines to arrange payment and transport. The Aurora was delivered in late May by a husband / wife Intercity team (I can’t say enough for Intercity Lines – they are the best). I had previously registered the car in Maine so it was just a metter of putting the plates on and getting an inspection sticker.

The Bravada is classified as a “luxury” SUV and certainly is. This car has most options and is a pleasure to drive. It has memory seats, mirrors, radio and climate control that can be set to automatically adjust for two drivers. The 4.2 liter I6 provides excellent performance.

Now I am finally “all Oldsmobile” and can feel good about it.
